Turn to page 70 in Bon Voyage. Using your graphic organizer from class, fill in the information you see about the school day and student's schedule in France on the left side. On the right side record information about what is different in a typical day in your school in the Etats-Unis. In the center portion record anything that is similar, or "semblable" about the school day in both countries.
Next, watch the video below. Continue on with your graphic organizer, noting similarities and differences between your school and school day, and that of the students in the video. When you are done, organize a simple paragraph in French, following the explanation of simple French statements I gave you in class. For example, "Les élèves sont au college à 7h45. Ici, les élèves sont au college à 7h15." Write a minimum of ten simple sentences in French, following this format about similarities and differences. (B period, due Friday, 11/4/11; F period due Monday, 11/7/11.
